Your agent's inbox, drafting, and the send approval gate.
Air has its own email address. You share it with the people and services you want Air to handle, and Air turns what arrives into work in your thread — drafts, summaries, calendar holds — without ever sending anything you have not seen.
Your Air's address
You get the address during onboarding; ask Air "what's your email?" any time to see it again. Give it to:
- collaborators who should be able to reach "your assistant" directly,
- newsletters, receipts, and confirmations you want summarised rather than read,
- anyone you would normally cc an assistant on.
Your personal inbox stays yours. Air does not read your own mail unless you connect an account and ask it to.
What happens when mail arrives
- Air reads the message and figures out whether it is for you, about you, or noise.
- If it needs attention, you get a short note in your iMessage thread: who, what, and what Air proposes to do.
- If a reply is warranted, Air writes a draft and holds it.
- You approve, edit, or decline — in the thread or in Needs you.
Mail from senders Air has never seen gets extra caution. Air will not act on instructions inside an email from a stranger, and calendar invites from unknown senders are shown to you rather than added automatically.
Drafting
Ask Air to draft in plain language:
- "Reply to Sam — yes to the 14th, no to the 15th, ask about the location."
- "Write to the venue and ask for their rate card."
- "Follow up with everyone who hasn't confirmed."
Air writes in your register. Correct it once ("shorter", "warmer", "sign off with just my first name") and it remembers. Each draft comes back as a card you can open, read in full, and edit before approving.
The send gate
Nothing leaves Air's inbox without your explicit approval. That is true for replies, new messages, and forwards, whether Air proposed them or you asked for them. There is no "auto-send" setting to turn on by mistake. When you approve, Air sends from its own address, and the sent copy appears in the thread.
The Inbox mini-app
For a fuller view, the Inbox mini-app shows Air's mailbox as a list: threads, who is waiting on you, and drafts pending approval. Open it from a card in Messages or from the web app.
Blocking
Tell Air "block that sender" and it will. Blocked senders are dropped silently and stop appearing in your thread; you can unblock from the People mini-app or the web app.
