Getting started
From invitation to your first text in a few minutes.
Air is in early access. Once your invitation arrives, setup takes a few minutes and happens almost entirely inside Messages.
1. Verify your phone number
Open the link in your invitation and enter your mobile number. You will receive a one-time code by text. This is the number Air will trust as you — every message from it is treated as coming from the owner, and every message from anyone else is treated as a stranger until you say otherwise.
Use the number you actually text from. Air identifies you by your phone number, not by an account name or password.
2. Save Air as a contact
After verification Air texts you from its own number. Save it as a contact (most people name it "Air") so the thread stays easy to find and photos, links, and cards render properly in Messages.
3. Meet your Air
The first message opens a short onboarding card — a mini-app inside Messages that walks you through:
- what Air can do for you and how approvals work,
- a look at your Air's computer,
- an optional photo booth so Air can recognise you in reference images,
- connecting the apps you already use, and
- the address of your new email inbox.
Nothing in onboarding is required beyond the phone verification. You can skip and come back — say "connect my apps" or "show me onboarding again" at any time.
4. Send your first text
Talk to Air the way you would talk to a sharp collaborator who has never seen your work before:
- "Here's a moodboard for the video — pull five references in this direction."
- "Read this brief and tell me what's missing."
- "Draft a reply to the email from Sam about the shoot dates."
- "Build me a shot list from these notes."
Long messages, photos, screenshots, PDFs, and links are all fine. Air keeps the thread as running context, so you can refer back to things you sent earlier.
5. Handle your first approval
The first time Air wants to do something on your behalf — send an email, post, pay — it will stop and show you exactly what it intends to do. Reply yes, no, or tell it what to change. See FAQ: approvals for the details.
The web app (optional)
Everything you can do in Messages you can also do at app.wzrd.tech: the same thread, the same history, plus a Needs you queue for approvals and tabs for people, skills, wallet, calendar, and your Air's computer. Sign in with the same phone number. You never need to open it; it is there when a bigger screen helps.
