FAQ

Privacy, trust tiers, approvals, and what happens to your data.

Is Air an app I install?

No. Air is a contact in Messages with its own phone number. The optional web app at app.wzrd.tech mirrors the same thread for when a bigger screen helps.

Who can talk to my Air?

Only you, by default. Air identifies you by the phone number you verified. Everyone else starts as a stranger:

  • Strangers get no reply. You see who wrote and decide.
  • People you approve can text or email Air and get help with things you have allowed — scheduling, logistics, sharing files you have chosen.
  • People you block are dropped silently.

You can promote, demote, or block anyone from the People mini-app or the web app. No one can promote themselves.

Approvals

Air acts freely when the result only reaches you: reading, researching, drafting, generating, organising. It stops and asks whenever something would reach the outside world:

  • sending or forwarding an email,
  • posting or messaging anyone other than you,
  • spending money or making a purchase,
  • changing a connected account,
  • adding something to your calendar from a source it does not fully trust.

Every one of these shows up as a clear request in your thread and in Needs you. There is no setting that turns approvals off.

Can Air spend money?

Only with a wallet you fund and a spending cap you set, and only after you approve each payment. Air can line up a purchase or a payment and show you exactly what it is; you say yes or no.

Does Air read my email?

Air reads mail sent to its own address. It does not touch your personal inbox unless you connect it and ask. Even then, sending anything requires your approval. See Email.

Does Air share a brain with other people's Airs?

No. Your Air has its own computer, its own memory, and its own connections. The underlying models are shared, but your history, files, and preferences are never used to answer anyone else.

Is it always on?

Yes. Air's computer quiets down when you have been silent for a while and wakes on your next message — your files and connections are untouched. Mail and messages that arrive while it is quiet are handled when it wakes.

Can I ask Air to do things on a schedule?

Yes. "Every Monday at 9, send me what's on this week." Scheduled runs follow the same rules as everything else: anything outward-facing still waits for your approval.

What happens to my data?

  • Your files live on your Air's machine and persist until you delete them.
  • You can ask for a full export at any time and get an archive back.
  • You can ask for everything to be deleted. This is confirmed with you and then carried out — files, memory, connections, and the inbox.
  • Air never sees the keys to the AI models it uses, and your connected accounts are never handed to anyone else's Air.

What can Air not do?

It cannot act without you when the action leaves your world; it cannot reply to people you have not approved; it cannot spend beyond the cap you set. Those are not limitations we plan to relax — they are the reason you can hand it real work.

Something is wrong

Text Air "feedback" and describe it, or open the Feedback mini-app. It reaches a human.
